Job Summary:

As the Head of Business Development at Brazen Animation, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales initiatives to drive revenue growth across all platforms. You will lead a dynamic sales team and collaborate closely with key stakeholders to achieve ambitious sales targets. This role requires a visionary leader who can build and execute a strategic vision through identifying opportunities, forging strategic partnerships, and driving innovative sales approaches.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities
  • Represent Sales on the Brazen’s leadership team.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies aligned with the company’s overarching goals and objectives.
  • Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed revenue targets across all platforms, including film, television, digital, corporate, and licensing.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability within the sales team, ensuring alignment with company values and objectives.
  • Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams to expand the company’s market reach and maximize sales.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.
  • Provide regular performance reports, forecasts, and insights to senior management, highlighting key metrics, achievements, and challenges.
  • Work closely with the marketing and creative teams to develop compelling sales collateral, presentations, and marketing materials to support sales efforts.
  • Stay updated on industry developments, emerging trends, and best practices in sales and animation to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to showcase our capabilities and network with potential clients and partners.
  • Develop strategies and a systematic approach to generating leads and nurturing new opportunities, both with new & existing clients
  • Establish and continually refine new business processes, systems & tools to enable effective management of the pipeline and efficient collaboration with all teams
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 10+  years of sales experience required with 4+ years of proven sales leadership success in the animation, entertainment, or media industry is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking with the ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a high-performing sales team.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
  • A self-starter who can work independently, is results-oriented, proactive, energetic, optimistic, tenacious, and resilient
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, analyze market trends, and drive data-driven decision-making.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Flexibility to travel as needed for client meetings, industry events, and conferences.
