Brazen Animation is looking for Mid and Senior level Animators, both in-house and remote for various upcoming projects. These projects vary from game cinematics to in-game cycles. 

We are looking for someone with great communication skills and a passion for animation! They must have a knowledge of the animation principles and body mechanics, as well as strong acting and storytelling skills. We are looking for an enthusiastic collaborator willing to work closely with a team on a daily basis to create strong, compelling performances. Must be comfortable animating both stylized and realistic characters. 

• Report directly to Lead Animator and/or Animation Supervisor
• Create compelling & believable performances for both creatures and humans using keyframe & motion capture assisted animation techniques
• Create dynamic posing and fighting animation using reference and motion capture.
• Collaborate and iterate with team under tight deadlines to produce high quality animation
• Be self sufficient and technically grounded for remote workflow.
• Implement changes and complete assignments in accordance with the production schedule
• Develop a working knowledge of necessary production tools
• Maintain an open and professional demeanor regarding direction changes and shifting requirements
• Receive feedback, address notes, and present clear ideas to Animation Director

• Reel showing strong realistic keyframe animation and/or mocap cleanup
• In-depth experience with combining and blending motion capture clips 
• Good instincts for realistic motion for humans, creatures, and vehicles
• Be willing and able to both give and receive feedback
• Flexible and highly adaptable in a fast-paced, dynamic, high pressure, start-up environment
• Time management skills, ability to receive and execute animation notes in a timely manner
