Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Brazen Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our talented team of  animation professionals across the entire company, inclusive of all Brazen Intellectual Properties, Brazen Services division and our architectural visualization division, Green Grass Studios.  The CFO plays a pivotal role in shaping our company’s vision, building our strategic roadmap, our Annual Operating Plan, leading the P&L forecasting, and ensuring financial reporting excellence while simultaneously supporting our culture of innovation, class, and collaboration. Collaborate with the Leadership Team to deliver and convey the company’s vision/mission.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities


  • Create and execute the company’s financial strategies while holding departmental leads accountable for their respective areas of responsibility
  • Perform risk assessment by analyzing the organization’s liabilities and investments
  • Review and manage cash flow needs while developing plans to increase profitability
  • Drive the company’s financial planning and analysis
  • Supervise all finance personnel (controllers, A/P, A/R, etc.)
  • Oversee vendor relationships and contacts
  • Prepare reliable and timely financial reports
  • Manage the company’s financial technology & tools
  • Ensure financial compliance with the law and company’s policies (GAAP Accounting principles)


    • Create, evaluate, modify and deliver the organization’s financial investment business model
    • Prepare and present our investment strategies and pitch presentations with the CEO/Chief Creative to potential investors
    • Collaborate with investors and key stakeholders to enhance financial models
    • Evaluate and recommend investment strategies and opportunities by considering economic, cash and liquidity risks
Required Skills and Expertise
  • Leadership skills with the ability to delegate, motivate and inspire team members
  • Able to translate strategic objectives into actionable plans
  • Experience in developing business models into new growth channels, product analysis, and pricing strategies through data analysis 
  • Maintain the financial rigor of accelerating growth through solid decision making and clear communication
  • Experience in Contract Management and business risk assessment
  • Wealth of experience with metrics-driven financial planning and analysis skills to drive the development of KPIs and the standardization of financial processes to impact the results & direction of a business
  • Proven ability to scale utilizing vertical revenue streams
  • Preferred experience with international finance requirements
  • Strong business partnering skills to fit into the company’s culture, which emphasizes collaboration, respect, empathy and best practices

  • Preferred experience with brand licensing

  • A history of increased responsibility in the financial sector; proven experience as CFO or finance officer 
  • CPA is required
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field required; Master’s Degree is preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years progressive, hands-on experience in all areas of financial operations including accounting, reporting, financial planning and analysis, systems and processes, compliance and auditing
  • Proven track record of building financial models for new business ventures
  • In depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices
  • Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software (e.g. Quickbook, Sage, etc.)
