Business Development Manager

Brazen Animation is scouring the earth for an exceptional Business Development Manager.*  This individual is an intelligent and eloquent communicator, a relentless hunter in the sales field, & an excellent collaborator.  This is a key business management position that partners with all functions of the organization to drive profitable annual growth. Responsible for achieving all company financial and operational objectives. Develops, implements, and coordinates the strategies and action plans aligned with growth initiatives and market needs.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and qualifying to generate your own business leads.
  • Proactively engage prospects via warm and cold calls, social media, networking, and referrals.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Conduct research on target markets and industries to stay up to date with market trends and opportunities.
  • Work closely with the sales team for support and assistance in closing deals.
  • Attend networking events to build relationships.
  • Work collaboratively with the Director of Sales to ensure consistent follow-up.
  • Work collaboratively with the Production Management team to ensure the smooth transition of new clients.
  • Collaborate with other team members and marketing for creative new ways to approach prospects.
  • Learn new products and technologies.
Qualifications
  • Outgoing and comfortable in a business-to-business setting
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and public speaking skills
  • Experience selling all types of animation projects and content
  • A self-starter who can work independently, is results-oriented, proactive, energetic, optimistic, tenacious, and resilient
  • Exhibits a personal commitment to quality

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field, 4 year college degree preferred
  • 5+ years of sales experience required
  • 2 years of outside lead generation is preferred
